Elysian Field Stables provides top-tier hunter/jumper training for all levels, from short stirrup to Grand Prix. With exceptional care and a proven track record in A-Circuit competitions, we provide comprehensive programs for both horse and rider. Wendy Smith’s equestrian career spans the highest levels of competition and instruction. A seasoned rider, she’s excelled from developing young horses to competing in Grand Prix and dressage, both nationally and internationally, including an apprenticeship with Gilbert Böckmann in Germany. Her expertise extends beyond the saddle; she’s a USEF-rated judge in Hunters, Equitation, and Jumpers, and a skilled course designer. As a trainer, she consistently produces successful riders, exemplified by her achievement of a Zone 1 Horse of the Year award. Her leadership was further recognized when she served as Chef d’Equip for the Zone 1 NAYRC show jumping team and Prix de States.

Boarding

At Elysian Field Stables, we treat every horse with the utmost care, as if they were our own. Our comprehensive boarding services include:

Individual stall accommodations
Daily turnout in pastures or paddocks (weather permitting)

Premium grain and hay feeding two to three times daily
Weekly sanitization of water buckets
