Elysian Fields is proud to host international recognized rider and clinician Jeff Cook.
Jeff Cook clinics concentrate on training both horse and rider for all levels of competition. Jeff
was fortunate to work as assistant trainer for former United States Equestrian Team Show
Jumping coach, George Morris. Jeff’s horses and students won many championships at major
horse shows throughout the United States. He has authored numerous articles on horse
training including a 28-month series on starting over fences for Practical Horseman magazine.

Elysian Field Stables is excited to offer a unique clinic, “The Judge’s View,” led by experienced USEF “R” Judge Nancy Murphy. Have you ever wondered what judges truly see when you’re in the show ring? This clinic provides an invaluable opportunity to gain insight into the judging process and refine your performance from a judge’s perspective.
Nancy Murphy brings a lifetime of equestrian experience to this clinic. She began her professional career as a certified riding instructor and trainer in 1992. In 2001, she earned her “r” judge’s license from the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) in Hunters, Hunt Seat Equitation, and Jumpers, achieving her “R” judge status in 2005. Nancy has since officiated at numerous USEF-sanctioned competitions nationwide. She has a proven track record of working with riders of all ages and skill levels, helping them achieve their riding goals and prepare for competitions, from local events to national hunter/jumper shows.

Joe Fargis is a two-time Equestrian Olympic medalist- winning individual, team gold and team silver. He has won multiple Nation’s Cup and numerous Grand Prix’s. Joe has been inducted into The Show Jumping Hall of Fame and received a Lifetime Achievement Awards by USEF and USHJA. With all his accomplishments, he strictly focuses on the simplicity and ability of each performing horse and basic fundamentals for each rider to endure throughout their riding career.

Anne Kursinski is a Five-time Olympian, two-time Olympic Silver Medalist, author, clinician and international competitor. In 1991, the U.S. Olympic Committee voted her Female Equestrian Athlete of the Year. She won individual and team gold medals in the Caracas, Venezuela Pan-American Games. In 1988 and 1992 Anne was named AHSA Horsewoman of the Year and 1995 she was Equestrian of the Year. In 2017 she was inducted into the Show Jumping Hall of Fame.
Anne has won nearly every major equestrian competition there is to win. Some of her major wins include the Grand Prix of Aachen, the American Invitational, the American Gold Cup, the Hampton Classic, the Grand Prix of Rome and the Gran Premio Pulsar in Monterrey, Mexico. She has ridden on 47 U.S. Nations’ Cups teams, and she has competed in 10 World Cup Finals. Anne has been a member of 3 U.S. World Equestrian Games Teams.
Anne’s passion for the show ring and sport remains strong. Along with competing and winning with her horse UK, Anne has been involved in the development and promotion of the sport. She is a USHJA clinician, member of the USHJA and USET Executive Committees and USEF Board of Directors. Anne is the Chef d’Equipe for the U.S. Show Jumping Development program and was a selector for the 2014 WEG bronze medal winning U.S. team in Normandy, France and the 2016 Rio Olympics’ Silver Medal Winning U.S. team. She has also been an analyst on show jumping telecasts.
Through her Market Street facility in Frenchtown, NJ, Kursinski uses her great talents as a trainer and clinician to help riders achieve their goals. Anne has worked with many top riders such as Hunter Holloway, Victoria Birdsall, Karen Polle and Eventers Caroline Martin and Matt Brown. Kursinski enjoys teaching clinics all over the country as well as her regular clients and students. Watching them learn and be successful is very gratifying for her. She also assists students and professionals that ship in for lessons and meet her at the shows.
